The morning was cool, brisk, bright; Barracuda had decided to take a stroll through the pumpkin patch. He figured if he found a good pumpkin, he would bring it back and decorate it. He hoped that it wouldn’t take long, his friend was waiting for him. The plan was to go out trick or treating, or was it treat and tricking; he didn’t care either way, he just knew he had a short amount of time. He began his stroll through the pumpkin patch, weaving between the different rows. His eyes checking each of the pumpkins over; looking at each one he began to notice different things. Some were bright orange, some dark orange, some large and some small. He even noticed that some were already removed from the vines. That’s when he spotted the perfect pumpkin. He trotted to the other end of the patch and gently nudged the smaller pumpkins aside. Once he uncovered the one he wanted, he gently picked it up and put it on his flank. Slowly he started to walk away, he made sure his pumpkin didn’t wind up falling or getting damaged. He flicked his tail before he started to think about how he was going to decorate his pumpkin. He thought he could maybe do his friend ‘Shadow’ but then thought better of it, he knew she wouldn’t like being put on something orange. That’s when he decided to decorate it like a dragon. As soon as he made it home, he set to work. Using his horns he gently carved an outline of a dragon, one of the smaller ones. He had seen it during his travels. He made sure to keep his lines sharp. After a grueling few minutes, his outline finally took shape. He glanced at it, wondering what to do next. He looked around, groaning, he had forgotten to bring any paints.
