Classes
Veilhorn classes are adventuring styles, each of them boosting Stat point gains from activities that your character prefers. They can be seen as a career choice, goals, or general hobbies, and should feel like a bonus rather than a restriction.
Your character's class choice will never limit their options in their adventures or restrict them from doing something, for example, any class can cast Spells and earn Arcana stats from doing so, but only Mystic characters would gain additional bonus stats from it.
In the future, each class may have class-specific rewards, such as cosmetics or certain spells earned by ranking up in that class.
Items, armor and weapons
Equipment is planned to be implemented in the future, that can be toggled on and off from the design image. All classes can use weapons. Weapons can be wielded through physical or magical means and be empowered by Spells.
Available classes
Adventurer
Bonus stat: none
Adventurer is the starting class for every character, allowing them to pick one of the classes below. To pick a class, go to your character's profile settings. A character can be reset to Adventurer by using the %class card%, allowing a new class selection. This will retroactively recalculate all stats from previous art, literature, and roleplay posts, to benefit from their new class stat bonus instead.
Warrior
Bonus stat: Might
Warriors are melee fighters, excelling in physical combat and specializing in the might stat. They use weapons or their bare teeth and hooves to defeat their enemies. Warriors are known for leading the charge on the battlefield or defending their allies, but their strength and skill can also shape many other paths: from ruthless mercenaries and fearsome pit fighters to powerful warlords commanding armies of their own.
Planned subclasses and titles:
Fighter, Barbarian, Juggernaut, Warden, Warlord, Knight, Mercenary, Shadowblade, Prowler
Strider
Bonus stat: Dexterity
Striders are swift and agile wayfarers and nimble and quickfooted fighters, specializing in the dexterity stat. They rely on speed and precision, capable of travelling vast distances through the most difficult terrain. While they are not built for brute strength they can still excel in combat through swift and calculated movements, dodging attacks and delivering a flurry of precise blows. Whether they live as daring explorers, resourceful messengers, treasure seekers, elegant dancers or athletes who weave magic into their movements, Striders embody freedom and motion.
Planned subclasses and titles:
Seeker, Courier, Treasure hunter, Pilgrim, Wayfarer, Pathfinder, Wind dancer, Skyrunner, Dancer, Rogue
Mystic
Bonus stat: Arcana
Mystics are spell-casting wizards and sorcerers, specializing in the arcana stat. They are masters of the arcane and can channel their powers to unleash devastating spells or helping their allies with restorative magic depending on what spells they choose to master. Their skills can take many forms: from masters of the elements, divine clerics and guardians of the arcane, to cunning illusionists, prophets and magicians.
Planned subclasses and titles:
Alchemist, Druid, Necromancer, Cleric, Witch, Wizard, Soothsayer, Magician, Prophet, Spell singer
Luminary
Bonus stat: Charisma
Luminaries are influential speakers, specializing in the charisma stat. Wielding their presence they inspire their allies, intimidate their enemies, or deceive through wit and charm. They can shape the world through the power of persuasion. From diplomats and commanding leaders to cunning tricksters, charming bards and fearless performers, Luminaries thrive where words and will can change fate.
