Raider

Raider stands tall and sure footed, a stallion of medium build whose presence is felt long before he speaks. His coat is a blue grey dusk, veiled in faint marbling and a subtle rabicano ghosts his underbelly, throatlatch, and a concentration of white at the root of his tail forms a distinct skunk tail flare. His horns, shaped as the curved blades of the oryx. There is a quiet gravity about him, his gait deliberate, his gaze sharp, every movement balanced between grace and vigilance. Once torn from his mother’s side as a yearling, Raider grew beneath the weight of solitude. Such youth breeds cunning and an understanding of the world’s harsher edges. Though not unkind, his trust is hard earned; he watches before he speaks, and acts before he is questioned. Among others, he bears the air of a wanderer who has seen too much and said too little. Some call him a bandit, for his dealings are not always virtuous, yet those who have watched him from afar whisper that he steals from the wicked more often than the innocent. In that, he walks a path between light and shadow, choosing his own measure of justice. He prefers the company of few, and shuns the clamor of crowds. Night is his solace; under its watchful veil he feels most alive, a creature sculpted from quiet rebellion and forgotten mercy.
