Fortunes
Fortunes are randomly generated prompts, putting your character in a situation to react or respond to. They're intended to be fun, fast, and inspire creativity, and doesn't have any level requirements or prerequisites.
Requirements
To be eligible for rewards, your fortune submission must be 4 XP worth of art and/or literature (can be a mix of both). Fortune submissions must be your own, meaning no collabs, commissioned work, YCHs, etc.
Aside from the 4 XP requirement, it must be recognizable as the featured character and the provided fortune prompt. Each submission should be made specifically for the prompt, no reusing old art.
You may interpret the prompt in a way that fits your character, as long as the prompt's meaning isn't changed. For example if your prompt mentions a forest but your character is a Marean living in the ocean you could chose to display this as a kelp-forest.
Bonus character
Every fortune will include a randomly rolled bonus character. Including this character in your submission is completely optional, you can feature your own character, the bonus character, or even both!
If the bonus character appears in your submission, your rewards are doubled!
The randomly selected bonus character will be rolled from a list of all characters that allow gift art. Try to stay true to their personality/description if one is provided on their profile.
Roll random fortune
Roll a new fortune! Complete it to receive bonus rewards!
There is no daily limit on rolling fortunes, however you can only have a maximum of 3 open fortunes active at any time. To create more, simply finish one of the ones you have.
Fortune rewards
Completing a fortune will reward you with 300
, and completing the fortune while featuring or including the bonus character will reward an extra 300
(600
total).
As soon as items have been implemented, each fortune submission will also have a random chance to earn an item. If the bonus character is featured you will earn at least 1 guaranteed item, with a chance for a 2nd.
