Marean are adapted for an underwater lifestyle with long and muscular aquatic tails. The tails can be vertical like a shark's, or horizontal like those on dolphins and whales. Most of the Marean herds live in the oceans and lakes around and on the entire continent, different herds tend to have different cultures and habits and while some live their entire lives in the water they are perferectly capable of living on land should they chose to.

Marean can only have fish-like fins and/or scales if they have the Aquaris mutation.

For coat colors where the mane and tail are differently colored than the basecoat, you can decide how much of the Marean tail counts as "tail" and how much counts as "body", meaning on for example a bay, the Marean could have a fully brown tail, fully black, or partially brown with a black fin-tips.
