Veilhorn Steed

Heterochromia

Appearance

Heterochromia causes your character to have two or moreo colors in their eyes. The colors available for heterochromia depend on the genes/patterns of your Veilhorn. For example you can have one naturally colored eye, and one eye colored by the elemental alignment, but you may not use colors not present in your Veilhorn's genes/element. Some white patterns can cause heterochromia if the white pattern is only touching one eye.

Heterochromia can present in different ways, such as a single iris having two different colors (such as sectoral or central heterochromia), or both eyes being their own color (complete heterochromia), or a mix of them.

  • Non-heritable traits have a chance to occur on any foal and are rolled at random when the foal genotype is rolled.
  • As the name implies, non-heritable traits will not pass to offspring from the horse that has it.
