Veilhorn Steed

Calico

Calico is an optional effect of Tobiano

The minimum requirements of Tobiano must still be met regardless if Calico is shown or not.

Calico is not listed in the phenotype, a Tobiano with Calico is still only written as Tobiano.

Appearance

Calico tobiano causes natural-shaped patches in darker and/or lighter variations of the coat colour, and can also display cat tracks.

These calico patches can optionally affect mane and tail where it touches, but it is not required. White markings should still affect mane and tail where it touches.

Eye colour:

Doesn't affect eye colour.

Skin colour:

Calico patches can optionally affect the skin - darker patches can cause the skin to be slightly darker in the affected areas, and lighter patches can cause slightly lighter skin. The skin colour should still be close enough to it's original colour.

Horn/hoof colour:

Calico patches can optionally affect the horns and hooves where they touch. Darker patches can cause darker streaks on horns/hooves, and lighter patches can cause lighter streaks. The horn/hoof colour should still be close enough to it's original colour. Can not affect horns/hooves that are already affected by white.
