Dark spots is an optional effect of Leopard appaloosa

The minimum requirements of Leopard appaloosa must still be met regardless if Dark spots is shown or not.

Dark spots is not listed in the phenotype, a Leopard appaloosa with Dark spots is still only written as Leopard appaloosa.

Appearance

Leopard appaloosa can have much darker spots than the main coat present, filling in the holes in the pattern or even appearing outside.

Dark spots can optionally affect mane and tail where they touch.

Eye colour:

Affects eye colour the same way leopard appaloosa does.

Skin colour:

Affects skin colour the same way leopard appaloosa does. Skin can optionally have dark spots as well.

Horn/hoof colour:

Affects horn and hoof colour the same way leopard appaloosa does. Dark spots can optionally darken horns/hooves where they touch.
