Appearance
Leopard appaloosa causes a white "blanket" with many spots of varying sizes. The spots should appear as holes in the white markings, showing the base coat underneath.
At minimal expression leopard appaloosa needs to have some white visible and it must be spotted in appearance, either by having holes in the white or by having white spots caused by snowflake appaloosa. A minimal blanket appaloosa must start around the rear and be visibly spotted either with holes in the blanket or with darker spots.
Leopard appaloosa can have very roaned edges on the white markings.
Mane and tail will be affected where white markings touch, however in the case of a blanket pattern that only covers the butt it is optional whether it affects the tail or not.
