Appearance
Striation causes striping either horizontally, diagonally, or vertically along the body, with an optional soft light gradient "under" the stripes, making them stand out more.
Stripes from striation should always be fairly straight (can have a natural "uneven-ness" to them), and the majority of the stripes should be complete and unbroken and not "merging" with other stripes. Some stripes can have a broken/spotty appearance, as if a pen ran out of ink while drawing them. Some stripes can also merge into other stripes, as seen on the "zebra" example below.
