Appearance

Ruby shimmer allows any part of the coat, including any markings and patterns, to fully or partially become any shade of red. Ruby can alter the colour of anything, including eyes, horns and hooves.

Ruby shimmer is limited to red, but it can also have hints of pink and orange. Ruby shimmer can be saturated or desaturated, dark or light (pastel), as well as a mix of all.

If no markings or patterns are present then shimmer can not create patterns/markings on its own, it can only fully or partially(gradiented) colour the base coat.

Can optionally have a glittery effect on any area affected by shimmer. The glittery effect should have very small sparkles, not large individual stars or spots.

Shimmer can optionally affect mane/tail where it touches, or affect the mane and tail individually on its own. Can also cause dapples on the coat.

Minimum requirement:

  • At least one trait/pattern/part of the design turned any shade of red.

Minimum requirements can be reduced or completely removed by the occlusion trait.

Allowed:

  • Can fully or partially affect any part of the design.
  • Can use one or more hues available to the palette.

Not allowed:

  • Can not create patterns or markings on its own, it can only alter the colour of any traits already present.
