Appearance

Embellish causes striping on horns and hooves, in the colour of the Veilhorn's natural hoof colour and their elemental alignment colour. Stripes can be horizontal or vertical, or spiral around the horn like a candycane.

Embellish also optionally allows Patterns to affect horns and hooves, in either natural or elemental colour. This means a chestnut with Pard and the Arcane alignment can have:

dark grey hooves with pink pard spots
dark grey hooves with darker pard spots
pink hooves with dark grey pard spots
pink hooves with darker pink pard spots

Embellished horns and hooves are affected by white markings in the same way horns and hoof colours normally are:

Naturally coloured areas must be affected by white
Elementally coloured areas can optionally be affected by white

Minimum requirement:

One stripe (or pattern, if any pattern gene is present) on the horn or a hoof.

Minimum requirements can be reduced or completely removed by the occlusion trait.

Allowed:

Can go on only horn, or only hooves (or both).
If pattern genes are present, the patterns can now also show on horns/hooves.

Not allowed:

Can not display patterns other than natural-looking stripes unless pattern genes are present.
Can not be in colours other than the Veilhorn's natural and elemental alignment colours, unless mutations/shimmer that can affect horn and hoof colour are also present.
Can not cause patterns on the coat to be elemental-alignment coloured (you would need the Primal mutation for that)

Eye colour:

Doesn't affect eye colour.

Skin colour:

Doesn't affect skin colour.

Horn/hoof colour:

Causes striping on horns and/or hooves, in the colour of their natural and elemental horn/hoof colour. Can display other patterns of any present Patterns.
