Genetics

Not listed in genotype.

Appearance

Ocelli causes "false eye" patterns similar to those often found on butterflies, caterpillars, and other animals - such as the spots seen on the back of tiger ears.

Ocelli spots can be randomly scattered or arranged in deliberate patterns. The spots can appear as very stylized eyes with eyelashes, or as simple circles. When other patterns are present, ocelli can optionally "meld" into the patterns or cause eye spots to appear anywhere within the patterns.

Ocelli patterns should always be darker than the coat (anywhere from slightly darker to black), can have multiple different darker tones, and can also optionally have lighter accents. Ocelli spots are additionally allowed to optionally have white accent-spots, these should always be fairly small.

Always goes below white patterns.

Ocelli should not be confused with All-seer. Ocelli is just a pattern on the coat, it does not cause real extra eyes.
