Appearance

Picta causes stripes, spots, or patterns in the mane and/or tail. Patterns can be simple shapes such as flowers, hearts, stars, butterflies, or similar.

Picta should always be darker than the mane/tail (anywhere from slightly darker to complete black), and can optionally have lighter accents.

Always goes below white patterns.

Minimum requirement:

  • At least one stripe/streak, spot or shape in mane or tail.

Minimum requirements can be reduced or completely removed by the occlusion trait.

Allowed:

  • Can optionally also show patterns on manes caused by the Wulf mutation.

Not allowed:

  • Can not cause streaks, spots or patterns on other parts of the body, only mane or tail.

Eye colour:

Doesn't affect eye colour.

Skin colour:

Can optionally affect skin where it touches. Dark patterns should darken skin while light patterns should lighten skin.

Horn/hoof colour:

Can optionally affect horns/hooves where it touches. Dark patterns should darken them while light patterns should lighten them.
