Appearance

Bronze causes the mane and/or tail to take on a rich brown color. The hair can be a solid color or have a faded/ombre effect.

Multiple different shades of bronze can be present at the same time and will have soft gradients blending them together with the base coat. The bronzing in the mane is allowed to be a different shade than the bronzing in the tail, and the body roaning can be a different shade as well.

It can optionally cause bronze roaning anywhere on the body.

Bronze can range anywhere from near-black dark brown, to rich red-brown, to a near golden, as long as it's still recognizable as brown.

Minimum requirement:

At least the bottom half of either the mane or tail needs to be bronzed. The natural hair colour is allowed to optionally be visible at the roots.

Minimum requirements can be reduced or completely removed by the occlusion trait.

Allowed:

Partially bronzed mane and/or tail.
Fully bronzed mane and/or tail.
Can have a subtle ombre effect where the hair tips are lighter than the roots.
Roaned/airbrushed bronzing on the body, can be same colour as the bronzing in mane/tail or a different bronze shade.

Not allowed:

Can not have partially bronzed mane/tail where the roots of the hair are bronzed but hair tips are not.
Can not have bronzing on body but not in mane/tail
Can not be colours other than brown. Saturated red/orange is not allowed.

Eye colour:

Doesn't affect eye colour.

Skin colour:

Can optionally affect skin where it touches.

Horn/hoof colour:

Can optionally affect horns/hooves where it touches.

Dapples

Dapples is an optional effect of Bronze

The minimum requirements of Bronze must still be met regardless if Dapples is shown or not.

Dapples is not listed in the phenotype, a Bronze with Dapples is still only written as Bronze.

Appearance

Bronze can cause bronzed-colored dapples on the base coat, as well as basecoat-colored dapples in the bronze roaning. The dapples can be the same or a different shade of bronze than the roaning, and be present even if there is no roaning at all.
