Genotype options:

Appearance

Quill causes wavy striping or barring across the body, mimicing the appearance of feathers - similar to Sebright chickens that have a striking laced feather pattern.

The quill pattern should always be darker than the coat, and can optionally have light accents around the markings. Quill can flow in the direction of the coat hair (but doesn't have to.)

Always goes below white patterns.

Minimum requirement:

  • A small cluster of quill shapes anywhere on the body.

Minimum requirements can be reduced or completely removed by the occlusion trait.

Allowed:

  • Can optionally affect mane and tail where it touches.

Eye colour:

Doesn't affect eye colour.

Skin colour:

Can optionally affect skin where it touches. Dark patterns should darken skin while light patterns should lighten skin.

Horn/hoof colour:

Can optionally affect horns/hooves where it touches. Dark patterns should darken them while light patterns should lighten them.
